Savoury Scones

The Savoury Scone is like a Wasp Nest Scone without the curry. We sell heaps of Savoury Scones.
You can just have cheese and onion, or you can change to ricotta cheese and spinach. And if you don't like bacon, you can have a substitute or you can just leave it out. So again, with this scone, as long as you've got the basic recipe right, you can do many different kinds of fillings.
For Mediterranean scones add olives, sun dried tomato, capsicum, salami with a bit of olive oil, chopped up together with scone mix.

Tom's Tip

Gently, Gently...

If you overwork your scones, they get too tough. The idea with scone dough is to mix it gently, treat it gently
