Editorials "Breadwinner" launches June 2000 Beechworth was the focus in May with the national launch of an exciting new book depicting the story of Tom 0'Toole and the Beechworth Bakery entitled: "Breadwinner" - a fresh approach to rising to the top! The book covers the successes and pitfalls of Tom's life from childhood through to creating Australia's No.1 Bakery - a multi tourism award winner and an enterprising Australian small business success story. In recent years Tom's passion for spreading the word has taken him on a new adventure in the public speaking circuit, sharing his philosophies, zest for life and aspirations with businesses, organisations and community groups throughout Australia and overseas. Late in 1999, Tom was approached by Information Australia to write his story. They had heard about Tom and his unique and witty presentation style and philosophies. Co-authored by noted biographical and business writer - Lowell Tarling, celebrity comedian John Walker launched the book at the Bakery on Friday May 19. |
